Refund & Cancellation Policy

If you want to refuse to take our services, you will have to follow this process to ensure the cancellation of any hosting solution you purchased from Vnetindia.com. We will only refund you the hosting fee when you cancel the service within the mentioned time. If you don't cancel the service within this time, then we will not be accountable to refund the product fee. Main refund terms – If you cancel VNET TECHNOLOGIES service within the given time, then we will pay you the full amount of the product as per our terms and policy. We will process the approved refund within 30 days.

Billing policy

• At least one Year or more - Within 30 days of the date of the transaction.

• Less than 12 months - Within 48 hours of the date of the transaction.

Right date of transaction

We clarify the date of transaction is the date of hosting is obtained or renewed by the owner which is followed by VNET TECHNOLOGIES. In this case we will follow the agreement terms. We have the right of cancellation any hosting package at any time and we will refund the fee according to policies.

Consider these terms –

You have to submit the cancellation request to the billing division by using a ticket or by billing portal. You will have to submit this request from your official email ID. We insist that your cancellation proposal must include the exact IP address and domain of the web hosting plans you want to stop.

Remote Hands Policy

Colocation Customers may request VNET TECHNOLOGIES to perform "remote hands" service on Customer's equipment within the VNET TECHNOLOGIES facilities.

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

This VNET TECHNOLOGIES (Host) Service Level Agreements (SLA) is governed by the customer service agreement or master service agreement (each, an "Agreement").

Colocation Access Policy

In order to ensure the safety and security of our facility, our clients and their colocated systems, VNET TECHNOLOGIES has specific policies and procedures that all employees, clients and guests must follow.

Terms of Use

VNET TECHNOLOGIES provides its service to you, subject to the following Terms of Service ("TOS"), which may be updated by VNET TECHNOLOGIES from time to time without notice to you.

VNET TECHNOLOGIES's policies and procedures for handling customer information have been created with the understanding that Internet technologies are still evolving and that Internet business methods are continuing to evolve to meet the needs and opportunities of the changing technologies.

Legal Notice

All notices to a party shall be in writing and made either via e-mail or conventional mail; VNET TECHNOLOGIES may broadcast notices or messages through the Service to inform CUSTOMER of changes to the TOS at their discretion, though it is not required, and may broadcast changes to the Service or other matters of importance, which shall constitute notice to CUSTOMER.

Backup Policy

Backup is one of the most significant tasks in order to protect the website's necessary files. If you maintain your website's data and files at a secure location, you will be able to restore your website when you face any disasters issues. The main intention behind the website backup is to protect your website forever.

Shared and Reseller Hosting Backup Terms

We do the regular backup process on our shared and reseller hosting servers but the security of the data is eventually based on your web hosting plans and features whatever you use. We always recommend to our clients that they must keep their website data on their own behalf because this thing will protect files in case of difficulty or server down. You can ask us to get your website backup format in a month if you don't want to keep the backup. But you should remember that this request will not be part of our policy and terms. Our team is ready to help you in all your troubles and provides you every possible solution. If you want any backup copy then you will have to pay the following fee.

VPS Hosting Backup Terms

VNET TECHNOLOGIES's team does not keep backups on a server basis or a hosting plan basis. When VPS hosting is secured from crash by sudden hardware failure issue, then there are more reasons that exist for crash, which are hacker and viruses' strikes and accidental attacks. In VPS hosting cases we offer three types of backup alternatives so you consider them –

Local Backup

This option is the most simplistic option to protecting a website. But local backup contains low quality security features and malware attacks issues always exist. Users only choose local backup due to cheap prices but local backups can harm your website forever. So it is necessary to maintain at least 40% storage space empty so that your backup can run without difficulties.

R1Soft Backup Licenses

We offer R1Soft backup solutions. This R1Soft Continuous Data Protection lets you protect significant data and works with a backup agent. It is necessary to install a secondary server along with CDP software. The backup agent can make timed backups within a limited time. After this beginning level, changes occur in a limited extent — meaning faster backup with minimum data transfer. This also cuts down the value of storage which is necessary to hold backup data for a long time. R1Soft Backup cost will be given separately.

Rsync Backups

This option provides more freedom. Users can run any tool to do the backup task to protect the data because this rsync solution offers more storage space which is similar to disk space of VPS. Rsync option easily works with Linux server. Rsync Storage price will be given separately.

Dedicated Servers

Dedicated server is not covered from its data losses which occur by hardware failure and other reasons like malware, virus, hackers, and accidental failure. We suggest you always maintain your offsite backup.

Data Security

VNET TECHNOLOGIES employs the highest standard features to stop the failure or unauthorized access of user's data. We assure our customers that we are accountable to protect their data in any case if they are getting our backup features. Your financial information is protected using SSL certificate.

Terms Of Service

VNET TECHNOLOGIES ("we", "us") provides Colocation Services, Dedicated Servers and other Data Center Related services together with such other services as are agreed between it and the customer ("the Services").

1. Conditions

By subscribing to any of the Services and opening an account with us ("the Account") you ("the Customer") agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions apply to all VNET TECHNOLOGIES accounts. All information displayed, transmitted or carried on VNET TECHNOLOGIES is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. This site is designed, updated and maintained independently by VNET TECHNOLOGIES. The content is owned by THE PINNACLE GROUP INC. INDIA. You may not modify, publish, transmit, transfer, sell, reproduce, create derivative work from, distribute, repost, perform, display or in any way commercially exploit any of the content.

2. Services

2.1 VNET TECHNOLOGIES will use reasonable efforts to supply a continuous service. However, VNET TECHNOLOGIES is not liable for any loss of data resulting from delays outside of our control, missed or non-deliveries, service interruptions or by errors or omissions of the customer.

2.2 You agree that VNET TECHNOLOGIES is not liable to you for any special consequential damages which you may suffer as a result of loss of business, contracts, profits, savings or otherwise.

2.3 VNET TECHNOLOGIES's customers are liable for all charges levied by their telephone service provider arising from the Customer's use of the Services.

2.4 From time to time VNET TECHNOLOGIES or its sub-contractors need to carry out maintenance on the network, which may involve temporarily shutting parts of it down.

3. Banned Content

3.1 Customers must use the Services provided for lawful, authorised purposes only. The list of banned content includes, but is not limited to: Illegal Material, Warez, HYIP, Proxy, IRC Hosts, Defamatory content, Bit Torrents.

3.2 We reserve the right to remove any content without notice.

3.3 Any customer found using the services for any of the purposes outlined in Clause 3.1 may have their account terminated without notice.

4. Adult Content

We allow websites with legal adult content only. We do not allow pornographic or sexually-explicit images of children or any pictures/videos obtained illegally to be hosted on our servers.

5. Server / Resource / Staff Abuse

5.1 Any attempts to undermine or cause harm to any of our servers are strictly prohibited.

5.2 If you abuse the resources we provide in any way, we reserve the unqualified right to immediately deactivate your account without refund.

5.3 Denial of Service (DOS) attacks directed at VNET TECHNOLOGIES are strictly prohibited.

6. Bandwidth

If your account exceeds the bandwidth limit, we will inform you. If you do not wish to purchase extra bandwidth or upgrade your account, the account will be suspended until you demonstrate that you have taken measures to ensure the limit won't be exceeded again.

7. Commercial Advertising / SPAM

7.1 Spamming, sending unsolicited emails from our servers is STRICTLY prohibited and will result in immediate deactivation of your account with no refund.

7.2 We have set a limit of 3600 outgoing emails per hour on Dedicated Hosting.

8. Affiliate Commissions

Affiliates cannot earn commissions on the purchase of their own web hosting account. As an affiliate, you are not permitted to self-refer.

9. Backups

9.1 VNET TECHNOLOGIES will use reasonable efforts to protect and backup data for clients; however, VNET TECHNOLOGIES does not guarantee the existence, accuracy, or regularity of its backup services.

9.2 Any backup carried out by VNET TECHNOLOGIES will not include any media files (mp3, mpeg, wmv, or any other video/audio files).

10. Billing

10.1 If paying by cheque, please allow 5 working days for the cheque to clear.

10.2 Invoices are generated 10 days before the official due date. Payment must be made by the due date to avoid suspension of your account.

11. Security and Viruses

11.1 You are responsible for any misuse of your account and must take steps to ensure that others do not gain unauthorized access to your account.

11.2 Your password provides access to your account. It is your responsibility to keep your password secure.

12. Control Panel Support

12.1 Our staff members will not help you over live chat, ticket, or phone support to set up email accounts, sub-domains, add-on domains, or install any of the applications.

13. Cancellations & Refunds

13.1 Cancellation Policy: In case of dissatisfaction with our services, clients have the liberty to cancel their projects and request a refund. Cancellation of service renewals must be made at least seven (7) business days prior to the end of the current service period.

13.2 Refund Policy: We can provide a refund within 30 days from the date of installation of the project. The final refunds will be made after deducting the service tax and hourly charges for the work completed.

13.3 There will be no refund for WHM/CPanel, Plesk VPS & Dedicated Server License, Virtuozzo, SSL Certificates, and Site Builder.

14. Money Back Guarantee

14.1 Dedicated servers and other Data Center related hosting services are not included under any money-back guarantee policy.

14.2 We also provide a price-freeze guarantee. You will never have to pay more than the initial amount you sign up for.

15–20. Modification, Termination & Liability

VNET TECHNOLOGIES reserves the right to modify or change these terms of service at any time. We reserve the right to refuse, terminate, or suspend your access to the Services for any reason at our sole discretion upon giving 14 days written notice. In no event shall VNET TECHNOLOGIES be liable either in contract, tort or otherwise for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

Data Request Policy

You must consider our privacy policy to know further information on what kind of details we collect, how they are utilized, and when they may be made public. This Data Request Policy reveals the different kinds of data requests we receive and explains how we respond to such requests.

Different Types of Requests

We receive the following types of data request applications concerning customer data: Subpoenas, Court Orders, Search Warrants, Legal procedures received from outside India (may require a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty), and other forms of legal procedure such as Civil Investigative Demands.

Preservation Requests

A preservation request asks VNET TECHNOLOGIES to preserve customer account information in connection with official criminal investigations or other legal activities. Preservation requests must include identity information, identification of the investigating firm, assurances that proper legal procedure is being followed, and an appropriate return email address and telephone number.

Emergency Requests

We will only accept emergency requests in cases that involve potential danger, harm, or death.

Copyright Infringement Policy

VNET TECHNOLOGIES strictly follows its copyright policies and we send clear legal notice to those who break the terms and conditions. Our copyright policy describes the essential components that must be written in that legal notice and also references related policies.

Complaint Procedure

VNET TECHNOLOGIES accepts only written complaints along with detailed information of the complainant. The complaint must include: name, phone number, complete address along with electronic or physical signature of the authorized owner, identification of the copyrighted work, and full material you want removed or changed including internet location.

Counter Notice Procedure

Upon receipt of notice from VNET TECHNOLOGIES that a claim of infringement has been made, you may provide a counter notice as per applicable law. The counter notice must include a physical or electronic signature, proof of the material that has been disabled, a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed as a result of mistake, and your address, name and phone number.

Service Level Agreement

1. Coverage

This SLA applies to only clients who have Managed Colocation Services, dedicated web servers, managed colocation services, off-site backup solutions and other Data Center Hosting solutions from VNET TECHNOLOGIES and your account is current (i.e., not past due).

2. Service Level Goal

VNET TECHNOLOGIES is a fully managed Data Center Hosting Provider. Our goal is to provide the most redundant and reliable services to our clients and resolve any issues that a client may come across with his server(s) or other hosting services.

Covered Issues

Hardware: Server Hardware installed and supported under VNET TECHNOLOGIES's Hardware Replacement Guaranteed SLA.

Network & Power: Network and Power Systems monitored and maintained by VNET TECHNOLOGIES covered under Network and Power Availability SLA.

Operating System: Operating System installed with latest updates and patches. Covered OS:

3. Exceptions

Client shall not receive any credit under this SLA for instances beyond Company's control including: Govt. body acts, war, insurrection, sabotage, embargo, fire, flood, strike, delay in transportation, DDoS attacks, hacks, virus infections, third party software failure, scheduled and emergency maintenance, DNS related issues, FTP/POP/IMAP/SMTP issues.

Request for Credit

Clients must request credit by submitting a support ticket or emailing billing@vnetindia.com. The request should include Client's domain name, registered email ID, and the date & time(s) of breach. Credit Requests take about 10 Business days to approve and once approved, will be applied to the next billing cycle. Credits are not refundable and cannot be encashed.
